Favorite restaurant on Elba island. Typical cuisine and fresh raw materials, of excellent quality, even for celiacs. We are loyal customers and every year dining here is a great satisfaction. Superlative are the risotto alla marinara, the risotto with shrimp flambéed with curry, the tagliatelle with overcooked tuna and in general fresh fish. The pizzas are also very good, also available gluten-free (difficult to find at this level). The choice of serving wines only in bottles is also excellent. All desserts are homemade and gluten-free: excellent the schiaccia accompanied by Aleatico, the cheesecakes, the Disaronno amaretto cake, as well as all the other sweets (tried with pleasure over the years). Helpful and kind staff, attentive to customer needs. If you are celiac, or in the company of a celiac, it is certainly a place of reference on Elba.

Pleasant discovery, given that Elba island is relatively poor in gluten-free restaurants. Excellent both sardines in pistachio crust, accompanied by caramelized onions, and fish ravioli, also made with fresh pasta made by them without gluten. The picchiarielli with tuna are superlative (NB: if taken gluten-free, homemade dry pasta is served, however of excellent quality). The choice of wines is also important (only by the bottle, as I believe it should be everywhere). All desserts are prepared gluten-free from them; the schiaccia 'briaca is excellent, accompanied by prickly pear ice cream and served with Aleatico. Attentive and friendly staff, they offered us two limoncelli at the end of the meal. The place is located between the main road and a parking lot, and it may seem a bit anonymous and uninviting when viewed from the outside, but the food is really really good. And if you are celiac, or in the company of a celiac, I would say that there is no better choice in Portoferraio.

This little harbor front restaurant is best described as an unexpected surprise. Seen from the outside it is nice but nothing special and at first sight the menu is also normal, but it hides some pleasant surprises. It starts with the off menus, revealed by the very kind staff, ready to help and advise; in our case, taglioloni all'aragostella. Then there are more particular dishes hidden in the same menu, such as Sicilian anchovies or pasta with tuna, cuttlefish and bottarga with fresh and tasty tomatoes! Their fried fish is also wonderful, so rare to find I like a spectacular cake at Dulce de Leche. To top it off, every single dish on the menu can be made in a gluten-free version!

Excellent everything, as usual, for years now, even in different "locations". The gluten-free is amazing... spaghetti with octopus and fried squid light, tasty and not soaked in oil. New management. Very nice and elegant place, we had lunch off the street side: ideal temperature. The whole menu is also available gluten-free. Guazzetto mussels/clams and spaghetti with clams both with and without excellent gluten. Good and light fried. Really good desserts too. And great choice of wines. Since I knew they make great gluten-free pizza, I also took a takeaway gluten-free flatbread to eat for dinner. Heated in the home oven it was super. Quality/price ratio superior to many kitchens in Elba. Highly recommended.

Discovered this restaurant a bit by chance, we have been there 2 times. The first we had the trio of appetizers (all 3 delicious) and a mixed fried. The second time we went back to taste the cacciucco. What can I say, really good and really abundant! We rolled out of the restaurant! The cheesecake with berries is also very good. A little chaotic service for various oversights but always extremely available.

We were pleasantly surprised, we were three 3 starters 2 first and 3 seconds for a total of 87 euros. What surprised me most was the quality of the food, fresh pasta and fish that still seemed to move on the plate. The waiters are all very kind, not to mention the professionalism. In short, what to say, to try at least!

Big surprise. At the Stella Marina I met Vittorio, a legendary chef from Elba. Great connoisseur of traditional tastes without neglecting the genuineness of the product, I ate very well baked fish in the local oven and a fry with paranza synonymous with freshness of the product which today is no small feat.
